City Service

Jason was sworn into office and elected Vice Mayor on December 12, 2022. His term expires in December 2026.

Personal History

Jason grew up here on the coast. A Georgia Pacific scholarship helped to put him through college. After stints in the Bay Area and Long Island, he landed in small-town Pennsylvania, where he taught drawing and painting at a state college. There he also participated in community initiatives, including local arts committees, the community garden, the shade tree commission, and get-out-the-vote campaigns. Since moving back to Fort Bragg in 2017, Jason has taught art at the Middle School and painted murals as part of the Alleyway Art Project.
